Zhangxi Linís BIO

Dr. Zhangxi Lin received the first master degree in computer applications from Tsinghua University in 1982, the second master degree in economics from the University of Texas at Austin in 1996, and Ph.D. degree in information systems in 1999 from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a member of IEEE, INFORMS and AIS for many years. He is currently a tenured professor at the Rawls College of Business Administration, and the co-director of Center for Advanced Analytics and Business Intelligence, at Texas Tech University. He has published more than 200 peer-reviewed papers in international journals and conferences, such as Information Systems, Research, Information Sciences, and Decision Support Systems, ICIS, ICDM, AAAI, and so on. His recent research interests include text mining, distributed business intelligence, online financial services, and realtime bidding for advertising. Zhangxi Lin is one of the founders of eBEREA (http://eberea.org) for more than 10 Chinese and European universities.
