File Naming Conventions

A file name consists of five parts: groupID-topic-proj[-version].extension. 1. "groupID" is the number assigned to your group (such as "gg01" for 6341 class) or the keyword of your group name (for 3349 class). 2. "topic" is a single keyword chosen from your topic 3. "proj" could be: 1, 2, 3 (meaning the short project 1, 2, 3) or 0 (major project). 9 is for other projects, such as the slides for mini-presentations 4. "version" is optional. It is a default extension such as doc, ppt, xls. |
